Privacy policy
Effective
This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit cloudcreation.ai or get in touch with us. It is short because there is very little to report.
The short version
- This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking.
- The contact form sends what you type to us, and we store it so we can reply.
- We hold only what you choose to send us.
Who we are
Cloud Creation designs and builds websites for real estate developers. We operate from British Columbia, Canada. We are responsible for the information described in this policy, and you can reach us at Josiah@cloudcreation.ai.
What this site collects on its own
Nothing. Browsing cloudcreation.ai does not identify you to us. The site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, and no session recording.
The site also makes no requests to third parties as you browse. Our typeface is served from our own domain rather than from a font network, so no outside company learns that you visited.
What the contact form does
The form on our contact page asks for your name, email address, an optional budget range, and your message.
When you press Send message, those details go to our server. We do two things with them. We save them to our database so your enquiry does not get lost, and we send ourselves an email so we see it quickly. Both happen right away.
Alongside your message we record the date, the page you came from, and your browser type. We use these to tell real enquiries from automated spam. We do not use them to identify you or to build a profile.
If something goes wrong on our end, the form offers you a link that opens your own email program instead. That path sends nothing to our server. You decide whether to send the email.
Technical records our host keeps
Our hosting provider records standard technical data each time a page is requested: the IP address making the request, the browser and device type, the page requested, and the date and time. Every web host keeps records like these. They exist to serve the site, to keep it available, and to protect it from abuse.
We do not use these records to build a profile of you, to identify you, or to market to you.
What we do with what you send us
We use the information in your email to:
- reply to you and answer your questions,
- discuss your project and prepare a proposal,
- keep a record of what we agreed, and
- meet our tax and legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who else can see it
We keep the list of companies involved as short as we can. Four handle information on our behalf:
- Our hosting provider, which serves this site and keeps the technical records described above.
- Supabase, which stores what you send through the contact form.
- Resend, which delivers the notification email that tells us your enquiry arrived.
- Our email provider, which delivers and stores the email we exchange with you.
Both act on our instructions. Beyond them, we share your information only when the law requires it, or when we need it to establish or defend a legal claim.
Where your information is held
Our providers store and process information in Canada and the United States. Information held in another country can be accessed by the courts and law enforcement of that country under its own laws.
How long we keep it
We keep your form submission and our email for as long as we are in contact, and afterwards for as long as our records and tax obligations require. Ask us to delete your information and we will remove both the stored record and the email, unless the law requires us to keep them. Our host's technical records are kept for a short period and then removed.
Your rights
Canadian privacy law gives you rights over your information. You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- correct anything that is wrong,
- delete what we hold, and
- stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.
Email Josiah@cloudcreation.ai and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection. What you send through the form travels encrypted and is stored in a database that is closed to public access, so only our server can read it. Access to our email is protected by a password and two-step verification. No system is perfect, and we hold as little as possible so that there is little to lose.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes are described here rather than made quietly.
